Since taking up surfing competitively during the 2020 Covid lockdown, Charli has quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with, with a string of results that have caught the eye of the surf community at home and abroad. Her recent achievements include winning the Cape Naturaliste ProQS1000, finishing Runner-Up at the Cloud 9 QS5000, and reaching the quarterfinals at both the Taiwan Open of Surfing and the Urbn BYD Pro QS3000 in 2024. She was also part of the ISA World Junior Team that won Gold in2024, solidifying her status as one of Australia’s rising surfing talents.
Charli is known for her hardworking and determined approach, both in and out of the water. Her friends and peers describe her as kind, humble, and creative, with an easy-going personality that makes her a joy to be around. She’s a strong believer in supporting others, motivating those around her, and always bringing positive energy to every situation.
Outside of surfing, Charli has a wide range of passions that reflect her creative and adventurous spirit. She loves music, singing, and playing the guitar, as well as expressing herself through art—whether it’s painting, drawing or writing. Travel is another key part of her life, as she enjoys discovering new waves, meeting new people, and immersing herself in different cultures. Charli values experiences that push her outside her comfort zone and help her grow as both an athlete and a person — She trains just as hard on land as she does in the water with gym, pilates, trampoline and swimming all part of her regime.
